Job Title: Product Manager - L'Oréal Professionnel Paris, Professional Products Division


A DAY IN THE LIFE:
As a Product Manager specializing in Market Activation, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive sales growth and enhance brand visibility across both B2B and B2C channels. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure effective go-to-market execution and maximize our market presence.

1. Knowledge & Analysis: 

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and shopper behavior across B2B and B2C channels. 

- Analyze brand and channel performance to identify growth opportunities. 

- Provide data-driven insights to improve promotion effectiveness. 

 

2. Collaboration & Communication: 

- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product management) to align market activation initiatives. 

- Provide training and support to the sales team on marketing strategies. 

- Maintain clear and effective communication with external stakeholders.

 

3. Market Activation Strategy & Execution: 

- Develop and implement Omni-Channel Market activation strategies, integrating B2B and B2C channels. 

- Design and execute eCommerce strategies, including media planning and performance marketing. 

- Develop B2C marketing strategies, covering promotion tool development, VMD, special packages, PLV, sachets, and tool management (stock, sourcing, order, invoicing). 

- Develop B2B marketing strategies, including promotion tools, PLV, PA management, sachets, LPS communication, and tool management (stock, sourcing, order, invoicing). 

 

4. Channel Partner Relationship Management: 

- Build and maintain strong relationships with Salon owners, Wholesalers, Distributors, eCommerce platforms, and H&B retailers. 

- Develop and negotiate joint business plans with key partners, covering advertising, promotions, assortment, and merchandising. 

- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for channel growth and optimize partner performance. 

 

5. Channel-Specific Marketing Execution: 

- Develop and execute marketing activities tailored to the needs of each B2B (Salon, Wholesaler, Distributor) and B2C (eCommerce, H&B) channel. 

- Ensure promotional plans are aligned with channel-specific objectives and partner expectations. 

- Create and manage POS materials, in-store activations, digital promotions, and eCommerce campaigns. 

- Track and assess the performance of all marketing initiatives and optimize for better results.


WHO YOU ARE:

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Year of Experience : 5+ years of experience in Trade Marketing, preferably in FMCG, or beauty industries
  • Experience: Preferred work in FMCG industry managing B2B and B2C trade marketing strategies
  • Language: Fluent in both Korean and English.
  • Other Skills:
    • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making. 
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and trade marketing tools.
