A Day in the Life
As a Junior Retail Category Manager (Hair) at L'Oréal Consumer Product Division Romania, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our product categories within key retail partnerships. This opportunity offers a unique chance to dive into the dynamic world of beauty retail, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive growth and elevate the shopper experience. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Retailer Category Strategy & Partnership: Develop and execute tailored category growth strategies with our retail partners, maximizing both category and CPD growth. You'll be the go-to expert for shopper insights, building strong relationships with retailers and leading category development projects.
- In-Store Fundamentals: Drive retailer-specific in-store fundamentals by adapting and executing the national category vision to each retail partner. This includes optimizing share of fixture, assortment, and planogram layout.
- Trade Marketing Activation: Implement and track trade marketing activities to boost sales and brand presence, managing budgets and ROI effectively.
- Shopper Insights: Be the internal expert on shopper behavior for your assigned retailer(s) or channel, sharing valuable insights to inform action plans and enhance the shopper journey.
We Are Looking For
- A dynamic individual with 1 year of experience in similar roles, ideally within the FMCG industry.
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners.
- Data-driven decision-making capabilities, using data analysis to inform strategies and optimize performance.
- Proven experience in category growth management, assortment optimization, and developing a category vision.
