L'Oréal Internship is a 6-month full-time program (1 July 2024 – 10 Jan 2025) designed for ambitious, compassionate, resilient, and agile students looking to kickstart their professional journey! You will learn about our various business models, build your network, discover our unique divisions and brands, and gain an overview of L'Oréal, our culture and our working environment.

 

Job Description

The cybersecurity team at L'Oréal would like to improve the way of disseminating essential information related to cybersecurity to the rest of Zone IT. Business stakeholders often struggles to find the right person, relevant policies, procedures, leading to potential gaps in knowledge and increased downtime for cyber-related matters. Moreover, the absence of a centralized platform further prolongs the time taken to connect stakeholders with the right person for the required information. To overcome these challenges, it is imperative to optimize operational processes by implementing a dedicated cybersecurity intranet specifically tailored for the Zone IT team.


We are hiring 2 intern positions in the Cybersecurity Team.


Position 1

As our IT Intern, you will

  • Play an integral part in creating a well-designed and fully functional intranet platform for the cybersecurity team, by achieving the following;
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team and other stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their needs, and incorporate feedback into the intranet development process
  • Set project goals, manage timelines, tasks, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Communicate and highlight platform functionalities to all IT users across zone, which include but is not limited to internal information, policies and security updates, training materials, as well as incident reporting and feedback functions.

 

What you will gain from this Internship

  • Learn about user-centric design principles and usability testing gain insights into understanding user needs, conducting user research, and incorporating user feedback to create a final product
  • Develop a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry standards. 


Who are we looking for?

  • University students currently pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Singapore. Students from other institutes of higher education (e.g. Polytechnics) are also welcome!
  • Background in Business, Information Systems or Mass Communications
  • Good communication and project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in any design application and professional copywriting
  • Passionate in joining FMCG & beauty industries is a plus



Position 2

As our IT Intern, you will

  • Assist in plan, develop and maintain the information security education and awareness yearly programme.
  • Assist in develop, manage and deliver innovative, gamified and impactful cybersecurity awareness and education program to cultivate a culture of cybersecurity awareness within an organization.
  • Provide simple, practical and up-to-date cybersecurity information and advisories.
  • Assist in developing targeted awareness campaigns and content for specific high-risk audiences.
  • Increase in employee E-learning completion rate
  • Decrease in Employee clicks in Fake Phishing exercise


Who are we looking for?

  • Background in Computer Science, Information system
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Power BI
