L'Oréal Group is leading an HR transformation journey, utilizing innovative solutions and data-driven insights to elevate the employee experience. The Americas Zone HR Tech team is in search of a driven HR Data Analyst to support the smooth delivery of HR Tech services and provide comprehensive data analysis, focusing on supporting the Americas Zone. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for transforming raw HR data into actionable insights through advanced data manipulation, statistical analysis, and reporting. You will also assist in the operations and maintenance of HR Tech systems, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), aiding in process enhancements, and collaborating with the Americas Zone team, Global team, and external partners to foster a data-centric approach to HR.


Responsibilities:

· Perform complex data querying, manipulation, and analysis of large HR datasets using SQL to extract meaningful information and support strategic initiatives.

· Apply programming skills in Python or R for advanced data manipulation, statistical analysis, modeling, and automation of data processes.

· Contribute to statistical modeling and predictive analytics initiatives to forecast HR trends, optimize talent management, and inform strategic decision-making.

· Design, develop, and generate user-friendly and advanced analytical reports and dashboards using Business Intelligence tools like Power BI, transforming complex HR data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.

· Share practical insights and contribute to the development of the global HR Tech service delivery and data analytics framework, fostering collaboration with the global team and other regional HR Tech teams.

· Stay updated on emerging trends in HR technology, data science, and analytics, contributing insights to the development of the HR Tech and data strategy and governance.

· Act as a key point of contact for the HR Tech service delivery team, ensuring operational excellence and data integrity.

· Proactively review daily task, incident, and enhancement queues, prioritizing tickets, and collaborating with internal teams and external support providers to ensure prompt, effective resolutions and minimal data disruption.

· Support the tracking, reporting, and management of critical incidents, coordinating with other teams as needed to ensure timely solutions and identify root causes for data-related issues.

· Assist in maintaining transparent communication and issuing alerts to IT and business stakeholders concerning system updates, data quality concerns, and opportunities for data-driven improvements.

· Collaborate with HR Tech service delivery vendors and internal teams to encourage adherence to program standards, SLAs, KPIs, and best practices, particularly regarding data governance and security.


Technical/Professional Requirements:

· Proficiency in English as this role supports the Americas Zone. French is a plus.

· Proven proficiency in SQL for complex data querying, extraction, and manipulation.

· Knowledge of programming skills in Python or R, including relevant data science libraries for data cleaning, analysis, and statistical modeling.

· Experience with statistical modeling concepts, machine learning fundamentals, and predictive analytics techniques.

· Extensive experience with Business Intelligence tools, particularly Microsoft Power BI, for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports.

· Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake) is highly desirable.

· Knowledge of GitHub for collaborative version control and code management.

· Exposure to supporting HR technology services and data initiatives in a large-scale organization.

· Basic proficiency in ServiceNow or similar platforms, encompassing incident management, problem management, change management, and service request management.

· Fundamental understanding of SAP SuccessFactors functionalities, configurations, and integration points, with an awareness of its data structures.

· Familiarity with vendor management basics, including managing local and remote vendors, especially those involved in data solutions.

· Strong awareness of HR processes and practices, including but not limited to employee lifecycle management, performance management, learning management, and talent management, with a keen eye for how data informs these areas.

· Basic knowledge of HR data privacy and security regulations and practices (e.g., GDPR, LGPD, CCPA).

· Ability to support cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and business stakeholders, to facilitate efficient service delivery and data-driven support processes.

· Developing problem-solving skills, with a willingness to propose practical, data-backed solutions.

· Exposure to coordinating and working with third-party vendors and service providers for SAP SuccessFactors ongoing support and data integration.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders across various levels of the organization, translating complex data into understandable insights.

· Prioritize customer-centricity, aiming to enhance the employee/HR experience through responsive and helpful support, driven by data.

· Awareness of HR technology trends, data science methodologies, and industry best practices.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously within a fast-paced, data-rich environment.

· Exposure to collaborating with global or multi-country teams is beneficial.

· Preferred certifications in SAP SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, Power BI, or relevant data science platforms would be advantageous.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Project, PowerPoint, Excel (advanced), Word, and Visio
