We are looking for someone with those qualities, coupled with sharp commercial acumen and leadership to join us as Area Manager to manage our business in the Great China region for assigned brands.       

Together with the General Manager, you will derive and execute the category sales strategy to reach objectives in terms of P&L, growth priorities and brand development from short, middle to long term.     

There are 3 core pillars in this role: 

Financial

  • Define and drive the overall strategy to reach commercial, brand and operational KPIs  
  • Maintain financial sustainability and profitable growth by driving financial strategies, budgeting and managing profit & loss 
  • Identify forthcoming risks, mitigate threats and transform any risks into opportunities  

Business

  • Implement business planning and review with retailers on a regular basis 
  • Discuss and align commercial targets as well as resources and marketing plans with retailers 
  • Leverage market trends, consumer insights, competitor and performance analysis to ensure macro-perspective 
  • Champion brand culture, knowledge and go-to-market strategy for the brands across the region

People

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic priorities through influencing and negotiations 
  • Lead and motivate teams on the field, providing direction and guidance as well as promoting collaboration 
  • Develop sustainable talent capability through managing recruitment, team mix & diversity, performance management and people development   

The ideal candidate will bring

  • Minimum 8 years of experience 
  • Strong strategic agility, commercial acumen and influencing skills 
  • Business development experience and P&L management exposure 
  • Demonstrated leadership capacity and people development track record
