A Day in the Life

As our Category Leader for Skincare, you will fully own the category's growth from vision to execution. Reporting to the Category Business Development Manager, your mission is to embed category expertise and leadership across O+O retailers. Trusted from day one, you will have a real impact, working closely with key stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Finance, and the Zone to steer our iconic skincare brands toward market leadership:

  • Build the Category Vision: You will develop the 1-to-3-year category strategy based on deep shopper and consumer insights. This includes defining ambitious targets for Share of Space, distribution, and ensuring our innovations achieve their full potential.
  • Drive Go-to-Market Excellence: Based on your strategy, you will support the activation and retail managers in building a winning GTM plan. You will help define the channel strategy, promotional golden rules, and the annual brand activation plan, always aiming to exceed our Gross Margin targets.
  • Lead Retailer Collaboration: You will strategize our trade collaboration plans, aligning our business priorities with retailers to drive mutual growth. You will define category projects and support the commercial teams in tactical negotiations, working to improve our Advantage survey position.
  • Master Promotional Strategy: You will own the promotional strategy and its budget, designing the national plan and tracking the ROI on all Trade Marketing activities to ensure every investment drives value and growth.

We Are Looking For

We are looking for a strategic leader with a fearless "in it to win it" attitude, who can translate data into bold action. You have solid previous experience in marketing, trade marketing, or related areas (like Category Management, Commercial) and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Along with a Bachelor's or Master's degree and advanced proficiency in both written and spoken English and Romanian, you demonstrate:

  • Inspirational Leadership: You excel at leading through influence, bringing diverse teams like Marketing, Sales, and Finance together to achieve ambitious goals and foster a collaborative, high-energy environment.
  • Category Vision: The ability to look beyond the numbers to create and articulate a compelling long-term strategy that will inspire your cross-functional partners and move the business forward.
  • Category Growth Management: A proven talent for identifying market opportunities and executing impactful go-to-market and promotional strategies that deliver sustainable, profitable growth.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data, track KPIs, and confidently make the critical choices that will optimize our assortment and shopper experience.
  • Assortment Optimization: Expertise in defining the perfect product mix for different channels and retailers, ensuring our brands are always in the right place at the right time.
  • Stakeholder Management: Outstanding influencing and collaboration skills to manage relationships with internal teams and external partners, creating the contagious energy needed to drive projects to success.
