A Day in the Life
Reporting to the Head of Category & Activation, you will play a pivotal role in driving category growth and delivering exceptional retail experiences for our Consumer Products Division in New Zealand. As a leader within the business, you will mentor your team and shape the strategies that bring our world-leading brands to life for shoppers.
You will be responsible for:
- Driving Category Growth: Develop and execute comprehensive category plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive both growth and profitability.
- Building Retail Partnerships: Engage with retailers to showcase category thought leadership, establish strong partnerships, and drive mutual business growth.
- Activating Our Brands: Develop and implement robust activation plans, creating impactful point-of-sale materials and campaigns that enhance the customer experience.
- Optimizing Product Offerings: Lead channel-specific assortment strategies to meet customer demands and maximize our product presence.
- Leading Your Team: Mentor and develop your team by setting clear objectives, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of excellence in activation strategy and execution.
We Are Looking For
You are a natural leader with extensive experience in the FMCG world and a proven ability to turn complex data into winning strategies. You excel at influencing stakeholders and building collaborative partnerships. Most importantly, you know how to lead and inspire a team to deliver outstanding results.
You are a great match if you have:
- Extensive Category Management experience within FMCG, with a track record of developing strategies that drive growth.
- Advanced analytical skills, enabling you to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and confidently adjust plans.
- Expertise in Brand Activation, with a portfolio of impactful point-of-sale materials and customer-centric campaigns.
- Proven success in influencing retailers, communicating complex information clearly and persuasively to secure favorable outcomes.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing A&P investments to maximize ROI.
- A collaborative spirit, able to work seamlessly with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities to develop and guide a high-performing team.
