A Day in the Life

As a Business Planner for the L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty division, you will be the central orchestrator connecting our commercial, brand, and financial strategies for the GCC region. Reporting to the Commercial Transformation and Business Development Director, you will support the Business Unit Director by driving our annual and monthly business planning cycles. You will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our ambitions are both achievable and aligned across all functions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Business Planning: Develop detailed budgets and forecasts by retailer, channel, and SKU, integrating key inputs like marketing investments, market share goals, and financial targets.
  • Collaborative Forecasting: Partner with Commercial, Brands, Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Finance, and Supply Chain teams to build consensus on sell-out projections, ensuring promotional uplifts and new launches are accurately reflected.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Conduct monthly analysis of sell-out and stock-on-hand data to identify risks and opportunities. You will share key insights through a monthly performance newsletter to guide the business.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Actively partner with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will align on joint forecasts with retail partners and work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, and Medical teams to ensure the feasibility and strategic alignment of all business plans.

We are seeking a candidate with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to see the bigger picture. You thrive in a collaborative environment and can connect the dots between various business functions.

  • Business Acumen: You have a solid understanding of commercial strategies, financial targets, and supply chain operations, with an ability to translate data into actionable business plans.
  • Analytical & Data-Driven: You are proficient in analyzing complex datasets to identify trends, forecast performance, and highlight key business insights.
  • Collaborative Influence: You possess excellent communication skills and can effectively partner with and influence a diverse set of stakeholders, including Commercial, Brands, RGM, Supply Chain, Finance, and Medical.
  • Strategic Forecasting: You have experience in building and managing sales forecasts, ideally with exposure to both sell-in and sell-out data.
  • Project Management: You are organized and capable of managing multiple planning cycles and deadlines, ensuring alignment and accuracy throughout the process.
