The Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team at L’Oréal USA drives sustainable value growth for the Consumer Products Division (CPD) through Price, Promotion and Mix optimization. RGM partners with brands like L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline, Garnier, Thayers, NYX Professional Makeup, and essie to understand market and consumer dynamics. Team members bring diverse expertise in market research, analytics, finance, and marketing, with a shared focus on implementing data-driven and business-informed decisions. 

 

Team members come from varying backgrounds including market research, analytics, finance, sales, and marketing but share a focus on making data-driven and business-informed recommendations. Common work includes providing recommendations to leadership on strategic business decisions, discrete choice modeling (Conjoint), promotional ROI analysis, financial modeling, and syndicated data analysis.  

 

Organizational Impact 

  • Collaborate with global and cross-division RGM teams to develop and scale best practices across the L’Oréal organization.
  • Integrate and scale new technologies into the RGM toolset to retain L’Oreal USA’s competitive advantage as an industry leading in the RGM space
  • Train and coach direct reports and junior members across the team on advanced analytics topics, in particular Choice Based Conjoint methodology.
  • Manage careers on the advanced analytics team, empowering them to continue their skill development and aligning personal goals to business goals

 

Strategy Development & Execution 

  • Highly analytical with a focus on solving complex business problems through the development of new, data driven solutions that deliver against our internal business strategy and our dynamic retailer landscape
  • Collaborate with the RGM leadership team to shape the roadmap for continuous capability building and enhancements to RGM techniques and methodologies
  • Apply expertise to strategies developed by the team to unlock value for the business to ensure recommendations are highly robust and backed by data
  • Evaluate in market execution of RGM recommendations and apply any learnings to further improve our models for the future

Background & Experience 

  • 10+ years in revenue management, strategic consulting, or commercial strategy roles within CPG or beauty.
  • Proven expertise in pricing, promotion, and portfolio mix strategies, including how they connect to financial structures and P&Ls.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations.
  • Educational background in Data Analytics/Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Economics or Marketing 
  • Familiar with both primary consumer research and syndicated data sources (such as Nielsen or IRI)
  • Ability to independently lead complex analyses and strategic workstreams
  • Experience managing/guiding junior analysts/managers in their work 
  • Experience presenting complex analyses and recommendations to senior leadership.

 

Nice to have:  

  • CPG industry experience with a strong working knowledge of scanner and promotional data.
  • Familiarity with development of key metrics such as promotional baselines, ROI, and promotion mix modeling
  • Knowledge of discrete choice modeling and consumer research methodologies.
  • Brand P&L experience, including financial modeling.
  • Understanding of market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Experience leading a team at a high level, setting vision and prioritization
