The L’Oréal Group Anti-Counterfeiting team is responsible for implementing and developing the global anti-counterfeiting strategy for all brands, both in its physical and digital aspects. 

 

Here’s how you will have a role to play in this team:  

 

Online monitoring, take down efforts & data analysis 

  • Act as a point of contact to handle e-commerce platforms and social media channels for counterfeit takedown requests.  
  • Support takedown service providers by reviewing flagged listings, sellers, and accounts.   
  • Help track takedown success rates and identify recurring counterfeit offenders for further enforcement.  
  • Assist in identifying and prioritizing high-value counterfeit targets (HVTs) using online monitoring tools and data analytics.  
  • Track and analyze trends in counterfeiting activities across e-commerce platforms, social media, and marketplaces.  
  • Provide regular reports on enforcement progress, platform compliance, and emerging threats.   

 

Offline enforcement Coordination & Investigation Support 

  • Support enforcement efforts by conducting preliminary open-source investigations, assisting with test purchases, and compiling case reports.  
  • Work closely with external monitoring, law authorities, local lawyers and investigators to ensure swift and effective actions.  
  • Assist in coordinating online-to-offline (O2O) intelligence sharing to link online counterfeit sellers to offline distribution networks.  

 

Market intelligence & emerging threats  

  • Monitor new fraud schemes, unauthorized sellers, and emerging counterfeit trends.  
  • Conduct benchmarking research to stay updated on brand protection best practices in the industry.   
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance L’Oréal’s brand protection strategies.  

 

 

The skills that you will need to make an impact:  

 

  • Master’s degree in law, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.  
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data-driven insights.  
  • Familiarity with e-commerce marketplaces, social media, and brand protection challenges.  
  • Experience in online monitoring tools or digital enforcement platforms is a plus.  
  • Strong interest in and aptitude for new technologies. 
  • Autonomous, rigorous, and organized, with a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team player.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
