A Day in the Life 

As a Product Technical Lead for Data, you will be a central figure in our O+O (Online + Offline) IT organization, shaping the technical direction of our data-centric products. You will guide a team of engineers to build and optimize the high-impact data systems that power our global commerce strategy in New York, USA, or Mexico City, Mexico. 

• Lead Technical Direction: You will guide the design and implementation of robust data architectures, pipelines, and systems, selecting the right technologies to meet business needs. 
• Drive Technical Product Ownership: You will manage the technical roadmap and backlog within an Agile/Scrum environment, translating business objectives into clear technical priorities for the engineering team. 
• Champion Excellence: You will foster a culture of high quality by conducting code reviews, setting performance standards, and mentoring engineers to elevate their skills. 
• Innovate and Collaborate: You will work closely with cross-functional teams in data science and business intelligence to explore emerging technologies and deliver impactful data-driven solutions. 

We Are Looking For 

We are looking for a leader with deep technical expertise and a strong vision for how data can transform the commerce experience. You are a natural mentor who thrives on guiding teams to success and is excited by the challenge of building scalable, high-performance data platforms. 

• Proven experience as a Technical Lead in a data-intensive environment, with proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies. 
• Deep expertise in data architecture, specifically with cloud platforms like AWS and Databricks, as well as big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka). 
• Strong proficiency in SQL and a scripting language such as Python or Java. 
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and manage technical backlogs. 
• Experience in the commerce domain is a significant advantage.
