Role description: 

The BOLD Platform Apprenticeship will principally support the Portfolio Operations Manager in: 

1) coordinating collaboration between BOLD portfolio companies & L'Oréal; 

2) working on market intelligence, competitor analysis, and BOLD value creation initiatives;  

3) preparing internal presentations on fund reporting & strategy; 

4) preparing internal reporting and meeting agendas & minutes;  

5) preparing external communication on behalf of BOLD; and 

6) designing, maintaining, and deploying fund tools 

Please note that this position is within the platform track, not the investment track, and is not guaranteed to involve direct deal exposure.  

Requirements: 

• Required (non-negotiable): at least one previous experience in M&A investment banking or a private equity fund
• Required: currently actively registered as a student and viability to sign an apprenticeship agreement of 12 months for the entire duration of the apprenticeship
• Must be fluent in English (French is a plus but not required)
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to rapidly process and summarize information
• Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at the same time
• Good interpersonal skills and team player
• Capacity to think outside the square, and find proactive solutions
• Previous experience in management/strategy consulting, venture, corporate venture, corporate open innovation, or significant experience in a startup
• Currently registered as a student and possibility to sign an internship agreement of 6 months for the entire duration of the internship
