Sustainable Sourcing Fragrance Ingredients - Chef de Projet
Raw Materials Sustainable Sourcing
CONTEXT:
L’Oréal Group is significantly increasing its use of ingredients from natural sources. Ascertaining the origins of these ingredients allows us to better prevent and manage the potential social and environmental risks often linked to their growth. Moreover, our brands driven by the growing interest from consumers are eager to communicate further on their choice of ingredients, their origins, and/or manufacturing processes.
The goal of the Raw Materials Sustainable Sourcing department is to ensure that 100% of plant-based ingredients used in formulas are traceable and sustainably sourced and that none of them are linked to deforestation. Thus, whilst ensuring the high quality of the materials, our mission is to ensure the respect of human rights along our supply chains, contribute to the preservation of biodiversity, and fight against climate change. Moreover, the in-depth work undertaken with our suppliers on social and environmental factors is an undeniable asset in our business continuity.
