A Day in the Life
As a Stock Controller reporting to the 3PL Manager, you will be a key player in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of L'Oréal products through our 10th of Ramdan warehouse. You will manage the third-party logistics provider responsible for warehouse operations, overseeing inventory accuracy and optimizing stock levels across all L'Oréal product lines. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the success of L'Oréal's supply chain in Egypt, impacting the availability of our products to consumers.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records using the SAP system, conducting regular cycle counts and physical stock checks to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity. You will implement and monitor stock control procedures to minimize stock losses and optimize inventory levels.
- Supplier & 3PL Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with our third-party logistics provider, ensuring they meet agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics. You will proactively identify and resolve any issues that may arise, ensuring a seamless flow of goods.
- Process Optimization: Continuously analyze and improve warehouse processes, identifying areas for efficiency gains and implementing best practices. You will contribute to the development and implementation of new procedures to enhance accuracy and productivity.
- Problem Solving & Reporting: Proactively identify and resolve inventory-related issues, escalating complex problems to the 3PL Manager as needed. You will prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a proven track record in inventory management and supplier relationship management. They will possess strong analytical skills and be proficient in using SAP. A commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.
Physical Stock Management: Proven experience in managing physical inventory, conducting cycle counts, and resolving discrepancies.
Supplier & Partner Relationship Management: Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with external partners, negotiating agreements, and monitoring performance.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve complex problems, demonstrating a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Data Tools Management (SAP): Proficiency in using SAP or similar ERP systems for inventory management and reporting.
Process Mastery: Understanding of warehouse operations and best practices, with a focus on continuous improvement.
