Work on innovation project to develop new cosmetic prototype by leveraging formulation science expertise; 

Contribute to key collaborative projects by using formulation science expertise;

Work with Labs to give trouble shooting and improve product quality by providing technical solution    

Build up physical chemistry toolbox and database to serve transversal innovation project;     

Upskill lab colleagues through formulation(emulsion) science training and sharing;     

Manage physical chemistry equipment in the lab and give basic training on equipment usage. Professional & Technical Competencies: SCIENTIFIC/TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE      

Master or PhD in chemistry/physical chemistry/ materials science or other chemistry related fields;     

Operate physical chemistry instruments (e.g., microscopy, SEM/TEM, rheometer, DSC, light scattering, etc.) skillfully     

Tackle formulation science challenge such as formulation structure decoding, mechanism understanding, stability improvement and so on;       

Publish scientific report and apply for patent as output of innovation projects ENTREPRENEURSHIP FOR INNOVATION      

Have high passion to do cosmetic research;      

Improve innovation project transformation and maximize the business impact;      

Take challenge and work under pressure, deliver innovation project on time and in full;     

Ensure full alignment with company safety and sustainability policy COLLABORATIVE LEADERSHIP FOR INNOVATION      

Communicate with lab colleagues smoothly to fully understand formulation(emulsion) science relevant technical challenge and manage complexity;      

Work proactively and take collaborative leadership to contribute to key innovation projects;     

Behave as interface between shanghai lab and global physical chemistry team to carry out expertise exchange on scientific and technical topics
