Overview:

The Senior Digital and Advocacy Executive will play a role in shaping and executing L'Oréal's digital and advocacy strategy across assigned brands within the Division. This role requires an understanding of the digital landscape, social commerce, and advocacy marketing, combined with strong analytical, strategic, and collaborative skills. 

Responsibilities:

Digital and Advocacy Strategy & Execution:

  • Understand the comprehensive media, social, and advocacy landscape, including competitive trends and emerging platforms. Develop and implement comprehensive digital and advocacy strategies aligned with brand objectives and overall business goals.
  • Lead the development of innovative advocacy campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion. Pilot and govern key initiatives to build more productive systems/processes to drive Share of Influence.
  • Manage Agency of Record to lead in optimizing advocacy operations and fundamentals.
  • Work with Media agency on brand awareness campaigns and ensure to amplify social advocacy activities by media investment strategy.

Performance Measurement and Analysis:

  • Establish clear KPIs for social advocacy and brand awareness campaigns. Measure, track, and analyze the performance of digital and advocacy initiatives, providing regular reports and insights.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and improve ROI.

Thought Leadership and Innovation:

  • Maintain a solid understanding and experience on social commerce and the beauty category and its consumers. Assess competitive advocacy landscape changes to ensure that the Division stays ahead with speed and agility.
  • Have comprehensive knowledge and expertise in social media and advocacy strategies, frameworks, and bring these to life in a data-driven way

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

  • Drive division-led advocacy innovation projects/pilots with multiple stakeholders to deliver specific learnings and outcomes that can be replicated to other brands
  • Control relationships with external partners (including advocacy influencer management agency, media agency) by regularly evaluating their performance and collecting division feedback to bring the best outcome from the relationship

Ownership and Operational Excellence:

  • Manage advocacy operation and performance tracking systems and support the process simplification and automation
  • Manage the coordination of KOL/content effectiveness studies with internal and external stakeholders

 

Upskilling:

  • Support CDO to educate and promote advocacy best practices across brands of the Division to transform and upskill their media and social advocacy knowledge
  • Stay in contact with the zone team (SAPMENA zone) to provide the best support resolving country specific issues and nourish country teams of best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media, and/or advocacy marketing.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital and advocacy campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, influencer marketing, and digital analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Experience managing external agencies and vendors.
  • Passion for the beauty industry and a strong understanding of L'Oréal's brands as a plus.
