In Skincare Application Domain (DA), we are looking for a researcher (formulator) within Cleanser team. This DA focuses on pioneering life-changing consumer solutions for Facial Wash and Make-up Remover. We're seeking an entrepreneurial researcher to innovate Cleansers. As a researcher, your main responsibilities are :
- Participate in the development of innovative cleanser products
- Implement new ideas that lead to the innovation in the formulation of materials with high cleansing performance, unique textures and sensory experiences
- Manage cross-disciplinary research projects and communicate with other hubs across the world
- Perform technical evaluation and stability test on formulations. Keep clear formulation and evaluation records in the system and inform supervisor on any research problems /issues
- Contribute to the generation of new ideas to deliver transformational results within the Skin DA and Cleanser team.
- Collaborate with clinical team, product performance evaluation team to manage logistics and ensure well preparation of products according to QA and Safety guidelines
- May work on multiple projects in the domain simultaneously
To succeed in this position, you have :
- Solid working experience in cosmetics formulation; skincare or haircare knowledge and experience are preferred
- Interest to expand capabilities beyond current expertise
- Fluent in English and business level in Japanese would be ideal
- Digital skills
- MSc degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry or Physics
- Problem solving skills with the ability to handle multiple and changing priorities in a fast paced, dynamic organization
- Knowledge of experimental design and scientific method
