Job Title Manager – Marketing, Redken Styling & Men’s

Division: Professional Products Division

Reports To: Director – Marketing, Redken Styling, Men’s, & Marketing of Education

What You Will Do:

Responsible for growth and development of Redken Styling and Men’s categories. Responsible for the strategy, implementation, and evaluation of new product launches and managing existing product portfolio to achieve brand goals and objectives.  Serves as the lead throughout the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans across SalonCentric, Ulta, Amazon, and D2C channels, including all promotional activities, product launches, and animations.  Interact effectively with departments such as: Sales Operations, Finance, Education, Digital, A&I, Media, D2C, Creative, National Accounts, Global Marketing teams and senior management.  Monitor and analyze business results to recommend opportunities for improving plans and their execution.  

  • Own category support calendar and plan including key promotions, in-store merchandising, 360 support plans, activations, digital elements, and content strategy to both professional and consumer segments.
  • Own vision & strategy for launches and hero pillars/animations.  Work with POD & cross functional teams to execute key initiatives. 
  • Ensure that launches are delivered on time and on budget. Strive for executional excellence on all marketing initiatives.
  • Proactively own sales results and category analytics to diagnose the business.Develop forecast for areas of styling portfolio ownership, track and re-trend as needed.
  • Conduct marketing research across all touchpoints (salons, stylists, distributors, industry reports, customers, social platforms etc.) to understand and pull-out key market insights, trends and competitive activities to inform marketing plans. Understand market share gaps for both professional and consumer markets, identify white space and strategies to gain share and outperform competition.
  • Responsible for management meeting prep

 

 

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
  • 3-5 brand management experience, preferably with beauty industry-related experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills and forecasting experience.
  • Strong execution, leadership and consensus building/decision making skills.
  • Computer literacy on Windows, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to travel domestically periodically (max. 25%).
