POSITION TITLE: Manager- Education

POSITION PURPOSE
The Education Manager will lead strategy, development and implementation of retailer service & selling content, tools and leadership development programs for the field team across the U.S. This includes driving key education initiatives such as Best in class retailer service & selling content, field service & selling training guides, service & selling leader guides and leadership development programs. This position works cross functionally with Marketing, Field Sales, creative and sales.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Owns development and execution of internal service & selling materials for all levels within field sales teams, educator/leaders’ guides supporting protection of brand equity at the point of sale.
- Owns and manages the education onboarding teams group, ensuring field training materials are updated and easy to locate
- Owns monthly event communications to key
- Support curriculum development and facilitate developmental trainings for sell through team supporting constant elevation of the execution and skills of the field team.
- Leads the implementation of Consumer Engagement strategies to maximize client loyalty through service experiences.
- Support and facilitate retail driving artistry workshops, skill certification and leadership seminars
- Develop comprehensive onboarding, service & selling and artistry materials for the freelance team, ensuring they are well-versed in the best practices for service & selling.
- Create, execute, and maintain Education dashboard communicating monthly highlights, key education insights, return on investment to key stakeholders.
- Owns Sephora brand survey management, identifying service & selling gaps, sharing data weekly with Field Directors and sharing success and identifying opportunities with key stakeholders.
- Creating a feedback loop by identifying and communicating effectiveness of retailer trainings execution and service & selling performance with Regional Sales Manager and Regional Sales Director.
- Collaborate with Marketing Product Education on coordinated listening circles to provide feedback from Field Sales to Product Education team.
- Provide feedback and insights on service & selling techniques to Product Education team to incorporate in product training sessions and materials.
- Organizing training calendar for freelance, service & selling and leadership development that supports the needs of the business through efficient facilitation, TTL Classroom-based trainings and other educational initiatives, In-Store Support, Leadership Development of Managers and Regional meetings
- Organize artistry calendar to drive retail sales through artistry education aligned with consumer shopping moments, brand launches and brand priorities
- Strategically plan and execute sell through team market tours to gain insight on skill development, training effectiveness and competitive education landscape.
- Strategically attend Ulta Round Robin trainings, retailer NSO and committed retailer trainings to Understand the needs of the changing consumer- by retailer, category, region and market
- Lead by example by demonstrating exceptional customer service by directly interacting with customers on brand messaging, service & selling, application education, artistry and fulfilling customer needs.
- Champion of brand field culture with HQ stakeholders
- Participate in special projects under the direction of the Director Education, events & artistry.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
- Bachelor’s degree preferred / 3-5 years related experience minimum
- Sales Field experience is highly desired
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OR REQUIREMENTS
- Duties may require travel and overnight stay
- May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Based in el Segundo, 3 days a week on site.
Salary Range: 92k-125k base + Bonus
