Job Title: (Sr.) Finance Controller (Digital)
WHO WE ARE:
The Digital Finance Controller is a key member of the Finance team, responsible for providing financial leadership and control over digital activities. This role is responsible for providing financial insights on e-commerce business, ensure compliance, and support strategic business decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of digital business models, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
Financial Planning and Analysis for Digital Activities
- Lead the development and execution of the annual budgets and financial forecasts (trends) for all digital initiatives.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to ensure alignment with business objectives to support digital business cases, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
E-commerce Financial Management
- Consolidate financials and prepare accurate and timely e-commerce related financial reports, including sell-out/sell-in, profit and loss (P&L) statements.
- Analyze e-commerce sales trends and profitability of e-commerce business and by channels.
Business Partnering
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor to business team, providing financial support and governance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CDMO) to support business initiatives and projects.
- Participate in digital strategy meetings and provide financial input.
Internal Controls and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures related to digital activities e.g., Media, advocacy and influence, e-commerce process, data management.
- Support internal audits.
Process Optimization
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting related to digital activities.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Education: University graduate (Accounting, Finance, or any relevant Business/Finance major preferred)
- Years of experience: Min. 5 years
- Specific Career Experience:
-Experience in the retail (FMCG, luxury, fashion etc.) industry
-Must showcase advanced-level the MS Excel
-Develop training for digital finance
-Project memo direct business model and D2C model
-Cost control of E-commerce, Media and digital cost
-Provide solutions and actions for business project
-Build E-commerce guidance on distribution selection and business model
- Language: Fluent in both Korean and English
- Skills: good communication skills (both written and verbal) and team player
