At L’Oréal, we are seeking an action-oriented and analytical Junior Brand Controller to join our Luxe Division. 

Reporting directly to the Brand Controlling Manager, you will play a fundamental role, providing clear insights to the business. In this role, you will share strategic advice with the business and contribute to the financial goals of the company. You will support the Marketing teams to create and maintain budgets, analyzing progress reported against work schedules, and recommend actions to improve progress. Furthermore, you will be immersed in a data-driven environment where to discover the endless opportunities that financial data can unlock.


  • Participate in building the budget and trends for our brands;
  • Support on month-end tasks;
  • Analyze monthly variance and ensure that the business can make quick and accurate decisions both on an operational and strategic level;
  • Undertake all cost analyses to detect risks and propose the actions required to maintain budgetary objectives;
  • Support Marketing teams to deliver profitable results meet KPIs;
  • Update data platforms in time and form;
  • Ensure good Internal Control practices;
  • Get involved in cross-functional programs to simplify and harmonize processes;
  • Build a strong partnership with the Marketing team and the other stakeholders of the assigned brands.


  • Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, or Math.
  • 1-2 years experience in Finance & Controlling;;
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Excel, (SAP and Power BI are advantageous)
  • Action-oriented with outstanding business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset; 
  • Fluent in English and Italian;
  • Eligible to work in Italy/EU without sponsorship.
