Title: Junior Beauty Tech & Social Commerce Associate (12-Month Internship)

Job Summary: Support the L’Oréal USA Digital Service & Social Commerce strategy teams, in analyzing and further defining the LUSA strategy of innovative and immersive brand experiences​. The Beauty Tech & Social Commerce 12-Month Intern will support in outlining opportunities, measurement, and scaling of online and offline digital services that aid in enhancing the consumer’s experience with L’Oréal USA brands.

Goal of the Position:

  1. Gain a measurable view of strategic beauty tech and social commerce innovation projects at LUSA at CDMO level
  2. Learn to measure incrementality, market analysis, and craft strategic proposals
  3. Help to scale best practices on Discoverability and Activation of new digital innovation initiatives
  4. Provide research and due diligence as needed on new ideas

Key Job Accountabilities: 

·       Project management, maintenance, and insight generation coming from helping to own a Cross-Functional Digital Services Dashboard

·       Preparation and storytelling around key discoverability and campaign activations, to be shared with Digital Services and Social Commerce stakeholder communities

·       Map out the LUSA Social Commerce community 

·       Partner with CDO on defining and scaling Rules of Engagement to brands

·       Understand and manage brand activation on Social opportunities (FB/IG, YT, PI, SN)

·       Creative/Media best practices – aggregate, analyze & insights, share

·       Organize and maintain new and ongoing deal/partner logs

·       Research and provide due diligence on new vendors

  • Work in partnership with Sourcing coordinators on CDMO led RFPs to manage traffic of responses and brand coordination
  • Maintain meetings agendas, follow-up notes, next steps for and from strategic meetings
  • Assist in developing presentations – asset gathering, data gathering, input and alignment with brands
  • Oversee project timelines and calendars
  • Assist with brand coordination during tests and pilots, aggregate reporting and work with Innovation and Content & Services leads to roll out learnings
  • Ownership of calendars scheduling meetings and being the gatekeeper for external correspondence

Required Skills/Experiences:

  • Undergraduate degree received within the last 12 months
  • Demonstrated understanding of digital measurement and analytics
  • Experience in marketing and analytics projects
  • Living digital and knowledge of social media platforms
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Passion for consumer insights
  • Creative writing skills
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Bonus Skills:
  • Experience with Digital Measurement tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Campaign Manager, and other Website and Media tools
  • Interest in start-ups
  • Strong understanding of digital media, social media, and marketing
  • Entrepreneurial skills are a plus
  • Pervious experience in the CPF industry or experience with Social or Influencers Marketing
