A Day in the Life

As Finance Manager within L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty, reporting to the Finance Director for the division you will be a key player in the financial success of our Montreal office, leading a small team of financial analysts. You will be responsible for budget control, ensuring optimal financial performance across various key areas, including customer benefit management, gross margin, and marketing expenses. This role offers a unique blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, providing ample opportunities for growth and development within a dynamic and supportive team. You will collaborate closely with Marketing, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment and achieve shared objectives.

  • Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
  • Budget Management & Control: Oversee the budget process, monitor expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
  • Performance Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular financial reports, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and guide your team of financial analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate possesses a bachelor’s degree and a proven track record in financial management. CPA is an asset.  They are a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They are also a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for continuous learning.

  • Adapted Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to different audiences.

  • Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make sound judgments.
