Your main roles and responsibilities will include: 

hazard identification for raw materials, cosmetic ingredients, substances and impurities through traditional and new approach methodologies (NAMs) such as read-across, in silico,… 
risk assessment of cosmetic products based on all available data in close partnership with Research and Innovation labs, 
design and monitoring of in vitro and/or clinical testing program when necessary, 
cosmetic safety report elaboration.
You are ready to participate to a collective adventure within a modern and agile organization, to face both exciting scientific and human challenges. Located in France (Clichy), in close collaboration with your Safety colleagues from France, Americas and APAC, as well as Regulatory, Claim substantiation and Microbiology teams, you will take care of the safety assessment of cosmetic products developed by our Research and Innovation organization. 

  • PhD and possibly with Post Doc experience in Life Sciences (toxicology, pharmacy, biology…),
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in toxicology, including an experience as a safety assessor, ideally in various industries (cosmetics, food, chemicals, biocides, pharma...),
  • Knowledge and hands on experience using New Approach Methodologies (e.g. in silico, TTC, structural & biological read-across, pathway-based and/or exposure-based approaches, PBPK, ..) in the field of hazard identification and/or risk assessment , 
  • Some experience in defense of ingredients would be a plus (e.g. submission of dossiers to authorities)
  • Fluency in English is a pre-requisite.
