Title: Director, Digital Innovation (Global Brands)

Job Summary & Responsibilities:

Responsible for the platform and websites strategy & roadmap across PPD Global brands (Redken, Matrix, Biolage, Pulp Riot, Pureology, Mizani) including content marketing websites and D2C sites. Leads project management efforts, liaising across markets, internal teams, and development partners to deliver master builds, ongoing enhancements, and localizations for digital properties. Ensures best in class deliveries and experience, incorporating SEO, analytics/tagging, accessibility, and personalization strategies into development roadmap. Accountable for the integration of services (virtual try-ons, diagnostics, etc.) into the site roadmap, working with internal teams to incorporate products and new technologies.

The ideal candidate will be able to communicate to business partners the vision for the roadmap, define the KPIs for success, measure the results, and use data to make informed decisions. Day-to-day responsibilities include functioning as the key digital point person for all the brands’ global digital properties and acting as a liaison between the brand, local markets, IT, and outside partners. This position requires extensive coordination and partnerships cross-functionally with multiple international teams. Experience should include excellent qualitative and quantitative skills and very strong project management skills.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and innovate global brand websites to reach consumers and professionals and expand the brand’s presence worldwide.
  • Develop enhancement roadmap for all digital properties and manage the execution from day-to-day oversight of partners through to budget management.
  • Gather requirements from brand teams related to new enhancements and experiences.
  • Hands on efforts to review website development activities in detail and ensure timely, high quality, and on-budget delivery.
  • Communicate to key stakeholders in global markets and liaise with country digital teams on a regular basis.

Required Competencies/Skills:

  • 5-7 years digital experience with a deep understanding of website development and project management
  • Working knowledge of Demandware / Sitecore and other content management systems
  • Strong understanding and the use of current online/digital technology to drive brand experiences
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to effectively manage relationships with diverse international internal and external contacts
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • High proficiency in in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Analytics
  • Experience in Fashion and Beauty a plus

Essential Physical Requirements:

·        Must be able to work in an office environment, minimum of 3 days per week.
