We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Expert to join our Plant and reporting direct to Performance and Transformation Director.

 

Mission: Ensure the Plant's overall approach on Performance improvement, guaranteeing the internal know-how on the Lean Manufacturing methodology and creating conditions for dialogue and support of resolution processes for those involved.

 

Key job accountabilities

  • Maximize productivity through study of the production cycle and planning aimed at reducing costs, time, losses, handling, boost innovation
  • Implement, perform, interpret and apply Lean Six Sigma at an advanced level of proficiency 
  • Apply and promote good practices in order to act coherently to them providing training to ensure the methodological skills for process optimization (5S, PDCA, Problem Solving, SMED, Chrono-analysis, etc.)
  • Management approach for producing the best, most timely, and most cost-effective products or services developing ad hoc solutions to solve specific problems
  • Organize audits to check that the system and methods are observed over time as well as the reliability of the data
  • Promote ideas, innovative practices and successes at plant level


Job requirements

  • Master’s degree Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in similar position in multinational automotive company with an advanced continuous improvement culture
  • Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Balt Certification
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals and proven track record of implementing successful of the Six Sigma methodology, Lean Manufacturing (Toyota Production System); WCM
  • Fluent in Italian and English (knowledge of French is a plus)
  • Knowledge and application of lean management programs with kaizen events, 5S, TPM, Visual Management
  • Previous experience of team management
  • Previous experience abroad is a plus
