The Market Intelligence Team (MI) within the CDMO Consumer Function group plays a vital role in empowering data-driven decision making at L'Oréal. Market Intelligence applies a wide variety of research techniques, tools, and data sets to monitor, report, forecast, and build insights that drive LUSA business growth within the beauty landscape. As a business partner, MI leverages insights pertaining to discrete categories, retail channels, consumer segments, and industries to aid business partners in their go-to-market and development strategies across LUSA Divisions. Market Intelligence consists of 3 distinct teams: Market Measurement, Advanced Analytics – Modeling/Data, and Advanced Analytics – Implementation/Activation. The candidate for this opportunity would work across these teams (+ others in our Consumer Intelligence community and Research & Innovation community), in order to build strategic, transversal analyses that help drive the overall LUSA business forward and upward.
Job Summary: L'Oréal is searching for a highly motivated, experienced, analytically driven, and collaborative individual to join our dynamic Market Intelligence team. In this role, the selected candidate will be leading Strategic Business Intelligence for LUSA. They will be a key business partner and resource to senior corporate management and division leaders, providing crucial insights and support through robust market and business analysis. Acceptable candidate will have the vision, structured thinking, and business savvy to drive the utilization of data-driven insights as a competitive advantage for the organization.

What You Will Do:
- Consultative Intelligence Services. Analyze market environment and business results (internal, external data) and translate information into meaningful insights (integrating trend learnings, innovation impacts, and socio-economic data) to help guide decision making towards growth-oriented action.
- Create and leverage a holistic framework for analytical project delivery; highlight strategic learnings and recommendations using a synthesized data approach (integrating market sales consolidation files, HH/consumer behavior panels, category deep dive assessments, marketing mix and statistical model outputs, macro-economic results, consumer intelligence surveys).

- Strategic Planning. Build a roadmap (plan, budget) for Business Intelligence by identifying and prioritizing needs; selecting key topics and methodologies; designing, digesting, and creating the workstreams; and mobilizing appropriate resources when/where needed.

- Digest intelligence to ensure presentation usefulness appropriate for top management.
- Identify/test technical innovations to improve analytical intelligence efficiencies and output maximization.

What We Are Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Quantitative Methods/Statistics, or Marketing. Master’s degree preferred, MBA or MS.
- Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Brand Management, Market Research (Modeling, Marketing Science), Business Consulting … with Business Consultancy a must have in the candidate’s background. Beauty industry experience a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and syndicated data analysis (both store point-of-sale and HH panel data).
- Experience with Kline, Euromonitor, e-commerce analytics, social listening tools, and marketing mix models (output, application).
- Strength in data visualization tools/techniques for effective and influential communication of insights
