Job Mission: As a Key Account Executive, you will be instrumental in driving L'Oréal's sales growth and market share within key retail accounts in the Modern Trade channel, specifically focusing on Minimart/CVS chains. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans, managing operational demands, and fostering strong relationships with key customers to ensure business objectives are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Planning & Strategy Development:

  • Develop, monitor, and manage a portfolio of key retail accounts in alignment with divisional and brand strategies.
  • Create comprehensive annual business plans and trade marketing plans, identifying growth levers to achieve brand results (sell-in, sell-out, market share) and profitability.
  • Plan and implement trade marketing, animation, merchandising, and training activities, tracking their Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Monitor contracts and invoices, and prepare for brand strategy meetings with the trade marketing team.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to execute trade plans and coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Customer Service, Education, Merchandising, Legal) on retailer activities.
  • Represent the retailer internally and work closely with other account managers.
  • Analyze and monitor sales performance at brand, Key Account/Chain, Area, and store levels.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with buyers and group store managers.
  • Partner with the Marketing team and Brand Communication to plan monthly promotions for each Key Account/Chain to support sales targets.
  • Manage Promotion and Gift budgets to ensure channel profitability and sales growth.
  • For new product launches, collaborate with all relevant internal and external stakeholders (Marketing, Brand Communication, Buyers) to develop a full launch plan.
  • Oversee end-to-end launch campaign execution, ensuring optimal product display and visibility in stores, including prime locations beyond standard layouts (e.g., hot-spots, cashier counters).


2. Operations & Execution:

  • Monitor contracts and invoices associated with the Modern Trade channel.
  • Process payments, Purchase Vouchers (PV), and Goods Receipts (GR) for the MT channel.
  • Generate monthly sell-in and sell-out reports for the Drugstore channel.
  • Manage and deliver promotional stock to Sales Supervisors.
  • Conduct regular field visits to stores for operational checks and optimization.


Key Relationships:

  • Internal: Sales, Brand, Trade Marketing, Education, Finance, Business Planning, Category Team.
  • External: Key Modern Trade Accounts including Winmart, Bach Hoa Xanh, GS25, Circle K, Family Mart, Kingfood Mart, and other CVS chains.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • University Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Account Management within the FMCG or Cosmetic industry.
  • Experience with Minimart/CVS Chains (e.g., Winmart, Bach Hoa Xanh, GS25, Kingfood) is a significant advantage.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong strategic thinking and advanced analytical skills.
  • Result-oriented with a proven ability to drive execution and achieve targets.
  • Customer-service minded with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Solid financial and numeric acumen.
  • Good command of English (both written and verbal).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
