Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Counter Excellence – Regional Market captainship
    1. Manage maintenance and overall condition of counters 
      1. Manage budgeting/tracking of maintenance budget as market captain
      2. Review and resolve maintenance request sent by field team
      3. Collaborate with maintenance contractors to complete maintenance work
      4. Raise Purchase Order for all maintenance quotations
      5. Engage cleaning agency to provide counter cleaning services
    2. Develop guidelines for Merchandising and Commercial teams
      1. Provide report cadence on recurring issues across brands/counters and drive continual improvement process
    3. Counter Site Audits
      1. Check safety issues against guidelines
      2. Check on fixture quality ie. Overheating of spotlights, missing design elements
      3. Check with Brand Advisor/Generic Staff on operational issues
    4. Process Optimisation
      1. Evaluate existing retail processes (eg. maintenance tracking) to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks
      2. Design and implement process improvements to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience
      3. Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent execution across all retail locations

 

  • Administrative
    1. Inventory Order and Management
      1. Support Merchandising team to order merchandising components for project openings/upgrades
      2. Manage inventory of merchandising components by brand
      3. Initiate Order List to with key stakeholders for POS openings 
      4. Track shipment orders delivered for project openings/upgrades
    2. Purchase Order
      1. Create and GR Purchase Orders (POs)
      2. Track to ensure POs are GR-ed upon work completed
    3. Vendor Onboarding
      1. Provide vendors access to the relevant portal
    4. SAP and Salesforce
      1. Download and track reports monthly


Key Skills:

  • Project Management – timeline driven
  • Stakeholders management
  • KPI Driven – Using Salesforce system data backed mindset 
  • Retail Design Technical experience - able to read and understand technical drawings

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma or above preferably in a retail design or visual merchandizing domain
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience, preferably in merchandising, retail or facilities management environment
  • Strong project management skill to efficiently multi-task, manage external parties, and follow up effectively
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build trusting relationships with cross functional teams and with external contractors
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, with Excel knowledge 
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and SAP is a plus
  • Proactive, willing to learn, self-motivated with a “can do” attitude
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while being a team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Travel Retail dynamics and environment is a plus
  • Traveling might be required
