A Day in the Life
As our Trainer Skincare & Beautytech Champion in Bucharest, you will be the driving force behind empowering our retail teams. Reporting to the Indirect Retail & Education Manager Multibrand, you'll blend your expertise in skincare with a forward-thinking approach to technology, shaping the skills of our beauty advisors and revolutionizing the in-store customer experience.
- Design & Deliver World-Class Training: You will develop, translate, and adapt educational content for our brands' products and services. Your delivery will span in-person classroom sessions, dynamic online webinars (via Teams and Zoom), and hands-on coaching on the shop floor. You'll onboard new Beauty Advisors, lead product discovery sessions at PR events, and tailor your materials to various learning styles and experience levels.
- Champion Beauty's Digital Future: You will lead the charge in implementing our cutting-edge beauty tech tools. This involves training our Beauty Advisors on new diagnostic software, managing the 'One Diag Platform' (handling POS data, BA profiles, product catalogues), and meticulously tracking and reporting on the adoption of this technology in our stores.
- Coach, Mentor & Inspire: You will provide individual and group coaching sessions to foster continuous development. A key part of your role will be acting as a role model, demonstrating exceptional selling methods and brand service by engaging with real customers on the floor to inspire and guide fellow Beauty Advisors.
- Orchestrate & Elevate: You'll manage the end-to-end logistics for all training events, from securing locations to driving participation. You will facilitate key upskilling and engagement projects like the Service Retail Academy and Kiehl's Recognition & Rewards. By maintaining meticulous records and preparing insightful reports on your activities, you'll demonstrate the tangible impact of education on our business.
We Are Looking For
We are seeking a dynamic, proactive, and adaptable individual with a strong foundation in training and retail. You are a natural communicator and influencer who is comfortable with technology and has a genuine ability to inspire others. You are skilled at managing multiple stakeholders and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience & Expertise: You have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a trainer or in a relevant retail role. Strong skincare knowledge is a distinct advantage.
- Communication & Facilitation: You possess excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with a proven ability to engage and educate diverse audiences. Advanced English is a must for this role.
- Technical & Digital Acumen: You are comfortable with new technologies and have the skills to train others and champion the adoption of new software and diagnostic tools.
- Relationship & Stakeholder Management: You have strong networking, communication, and influencing abilities, with experience managing relationships across different levels (zonal, business, DMI).
- Personal Attributes: You are proactive, adapt quickly to change, and are committed to your own continuous professional development by staying informed on the latest industry trends and best practices.
