A Day in the Life

As the Sourcing Director for L'Oréal Mexico, you will lead a dynamic team of 11 purchasing professionals, shaping the strategic sourcing landscape for the entire organization. You will be at the heart of our business operations, managing an annual budget of 5.5 billion pesos and ensuring we partner with the best suppliers to drive our success.

• Lead Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for a wide range of indirect categories, including Marketing, Transportation, Warehousing, and co-packing services, to support all divisions.
• Drive Team Performance: Inspire and manage a team of 5 direct reports (11 total team members), fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous development to meet ambitious business targets.
• Manage Supplier Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with key suppliers, leading high-stakes negotiations to secure optimal value, quality, and service for the Group.
• Ensure Financial Excellence: Oversee the sourcing budget, spearhead cost-saving initiatives, and implement robust financial controls to maximize efficiency and return on investment.

We Are Looking For

You are a seasoned leader with a proven ability to drive strategy and results in a fast-paced environment. Your experience in the FMCG or similar sectors gives you a deep understanding of the market, and you thrive on building high-performing teams and negotiating complex deals.

You’re a great match if you have:

• Highly experienced in leading sourcing or procurement functions.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing significant budgets.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
