JOB Description: 

We have a suitable opening in the Operations – Sourcing department for the role of Senior Buyer – Raw Materials – SCALE Program

Recent years have shown that Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous (VUCA) environment is the new norm, leading to higher risk of supply disruption. SCALE (Supply Chain Agility for Long Term Expansion), is our WorldWide program to further improve the robustness of our supply chain and amplify our resiliency in order to ensure continuity of our supplies everywhere and support our projected growth.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute to Raw Material “securization” activities for the WorldWide SCALE program, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners to support growth, secure business and maximize value for L’Oréal group.
? Analyze project needs/ scope, anticipates business activity and build up relevant sourcing strategic frame, animate the network, and promote best practices. Ensure your most valuable contribution for projects to be implemented successfully. 
? Lead raw materials securization program SCALE, and strategic diversification/ substitution / localization projects for his/her scope or portfolio, to minimize business risk and bring flexibility/agility.
? Manage project process, define/drive clear roadmap with sourcing community. Support and manage internal stakeholder relationship (Corporate team/ quality/ R&I, etc) and share/ communicate with stakeholders.
? Onboard and upscale new suppliers to match L’Oréal exceptions while ensuring whole process to meet internal control policy.
? Carry out financial risk assessment of new suppliers to the company

Market knowledge

Anticipate mid-term/long-term evolutions related to Regulatory and Consumer shifts

 Share global market knowledge and intelligence with worldwide and internal stakeholders 
Carry out multi-zone both internal and external category benchmarks,

 Supplier Relationship Management
Multi-Stakeholder management skills across cultures and geographies
 Proven ability to work and navigate in complex organizations and manage teams 
 Excellent skills on PPT, Excel, Power BI etc.
