As a Retail Design & Visual Merchandising Intern, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall brand experience for our customers. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective visual merchandising strategies to drive sales and create an engaging shopping environment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and store operations, to ensure brand consistency and maximize the impact of visual merchandising efforts.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute visual merchandising strategies and guidelines to enhance the brand image and drive sales in retail stores.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment between visual merchandising and brand campaigns.
  • Create visually appealing and innovative displays that showcase our products and attract customers' attention.
  • Conduct regular store visits to assess visual merchandising standards and provide guidance to store teams.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and innovative visual merchandising concepts.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and agencies to source materials and props for visual merchandising displays.
  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and visual merchandising standards across all retail locations.


What we are looking for:

  • Major in Architecture, Visual Merchandising, Design or a related field
  • Experience in retail visual merchandising, preferably in the beauty or fashion industry
  • Strong creative and artistic skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent knowledge of visual merchandising techniques, trends, and best practices
  • Proficient in using design software and tools, such as SketchUp, Photoshop or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and store staff.
