A Day in the Life

As our  Retail Category Manager for Haircare & Colour, you will play a crucial role in supporting our category growth strategies with major retail partners. You will work closely with the Category Strategy Head to analyze data, prepare insights, and help execute plans that ensure our brands thrive in the Australian market. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your commercial skills and build a career in the dynamic world of beauty retail.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Category Strategy Head in the development and execution of category plans and reviews.
  • Assisting with the analysis of market data, consumer & shopper trends, and sales performance to help identify key insights.
  • Helping to prepare reports and presentations for internal teams and external retail partners.
  • Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to support the successful launch of new products and brand/category execution.
  • Maintaining accurate records of assortment, pricing, and distribution and making recommendations based on data.

You are a perfect match for this role if you are highly organized, detail-oriented, and have a genuine interest in turning data into compelling stories. You are a proactive team player, eager to learn and contribute to a fast-paced commercial environment. We are looking for someone with:

  • Some experience in or exposure to account management, category analysis, sales, or a related commercial field.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in using tools like Excel to work with data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • A keen interest in the retail landscape and a desire to build a career in category management.
