A Day in the Life
As the Brand Manager (Digital Viral & Business Lead) for ColorWow, you will spearhead the successful launch and long-term growth of this innovative, game-changing hair brand within our Professional Products Division (PPD). Reporting to the Brand General Manager, you are a hybrid entrepreneurial leader who will drive digital virality, own the brand's business plan, and collaborate closely with our Sales, E-Commerce, and Retail teams. Your mission is to build a powerhouse brand from the ground up in Korea.
You will be responsible for:
1. Communication & Digital Viral Strategy (Highest Priority)
- Drive Digital Buzz: Develop and execute an integrated, social-first communication strategy to establish a powerful, explosive digital presence for ColorWow.
- Content Ideation & Creation: Ideate and produce trend-driven, high-impact content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) to spark organic virality and build a highly engaged brand community.
- Influencer & MCN Partnerships: Partner closely with key influencers, celebrities, and Multi-Channel Networks (MCNs) to amplify brand messaging and recruit new consumers.
- Campaign Optimization: Monitor and analyze digital campaign performance (KPIs) to optimize marketing spend and maximize ROI.
2. Brand & Product Management
- Product Launch & Animation: Design and implement the yearly marketing animation plan and product launch calendar, aligning ColorWow’s global identity with local market needs.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including pricing strategy, promotional planning, visual merchandising, and localized messaging.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive analysis into the local hair care market and competitor landscape to maintain a highly differentiated positioning.
- Global Liaison: Serve as the primary liaison with the Global Brand Team to ensure brand consistency while advocating local market requirements.
3. Business Leadership & Sales Collaboration
- Business Lead & Channel Strategy: Partner with the Sales team to architect holistic business plans across all distribution channels.
- Commercial Enablement: Collaborate with Sales to identify channel-specific growth drivers and provide the necessary brand tools and assets for effective channel communication.
- Data-Driven Action: Analyze sell-in/sell-out data, digital metrics, and consumer insights to suggest actionable, proactive strategies for both Marketing and Sales teams.
- P&L & Budget Ownership: Own the brand P&L and manage marketing budgets efficiently to ensure profitable growth and brand sustainability.

- Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data (GA, sales figures, social metrics) into proactive business solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Agility & Entrepreneurial Spirit: High sense of urgency, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to multi-task and thrive in the fast-paced, high-pressure environment of a new brand launch.
- Trend-Conscious: A deep passion for the beauty/hair care industry and a keen eye for emerging digital, social media, and consumer trends.
