JOB SUMMARY
Biotherm Korea is establishing an integrated Communication & CRM structure to unify brand storytelling, earned media, influencer ecosystems, and consumer relationship management under one cohesive strategy.
Biotherm's Communications Specialist is a dynamic, multi-faceted role combining creative storytelling with data-driven execution. While supporting Biotherm Korea’s broad communication and advocacy scope, this role will take hands-on ownership of CRM operations (which will represent a significant portion of daily deliverables in the initial phase), ensuring that brand narratives are effectively personalized and delivered to our valued customer base.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Integrated Communication Support (Core Work)
- Support the Team Manager in implementing integrated communication plans across PR, social media, influencer marketing, events, and digital platforms.
- Support the creation of on-brand content across platforms, ensuring a consistent premium and science-forward voice.
- CRM Management & Direct Customer Communications (Owned)
- Manage daily CRM operations, including consumer database maintenance, loyalty program execution, and localized campaign setups.
- Execute direct-to-consumer (D2C) messaging campaigns (such as Kakao Talk Plus Friend, SMS, etc.) to deliver personalized brand communications to the right target audience.
- Monitor CRM campaign performance and support the team in drawing data-driven insights to improve customer retention and lifetime value.
- Collaborate with retail, e-commerce, and education teams to ensure a seamless customer experience (CX) and consistent brand messaging across all physical and digital touchpoints.
- Public Relations & Advocacy
- Assist in maintaining media relationships, preparing pitching materials, and supporting influencer collaborations aligned with Biotherm's positioning.
- Events & Sponsorships
- Take a leading role in the planning and execution of Skin Fitness-inspired brand events and sponsorships, coordinating logistics to deliver immersive experiences and drive meaningful media coverage.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Years of Experience: 2+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or CRM-related roles.
- Experience: Minimum 2-year experience of Communications or Customer Marketing in the beauty, fitness, retail, or consumer-centric industries.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CRM systems, consumer databases, or loyalty program operations.
- Familiarity with D2C communication platforms (e.g., Kakao Talk Business, SMS marketing tools) and campaign execution.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret consumer data and campaign metrics (Proficiency in MS Excel is highly preferred).
- Experience with media monitoring and analytics tools.
- Existing relationships with key media and influencers.
- Experience with event planning and execution.
- Ability to develop and execute successful online viral campaigns.
- Language: Fluent in both Korean and English.
- Other Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
