Job Title: Field Account Executive
Department: Loreal Luxe - Commercial Sell Out Team
Reports To: Regional Sales Manager
Job Summary: The Field Account Executive is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of assigned accounts within a defined geographical territory across all the various brands in the Loreal Luxe Portfolio(Multibrand). This role involves developing and executing sales strategies to achieve targets, fostering strong long-term relationships with staff and our retail partners, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring optimal product distribution and merchandising. The Field Account Executive acts as the primary point of contact for store staff and in store management teams, providing expert business knowledge, sales support, and strategic guidance to the field trade teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Relationship Building:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned accounts – Retailers, Staff and Independent Distributors
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative, and long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and store personnel including Generic Staff
- Conduct regular and productive visits to Retail Partners to assess needs, management of stock and testers, and resolve any issues.
- Understand each account's business objectives, challenges, and opportunities to tailor to the Loreal Luxe offering
Sales & Business Development:
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the territory.
- Identify new business opportunities to ensure Loreal Luxe brands increases their Market Share in the relevant Retail Space
- Identify possible areas of concern for their specific accounts and work on action plans to ensure that solutions are found to minimize the impact on Sell Out.
- Employment of the best Beauty Specialists to provide services to our Luxe Consumers in store
- Management of the Sales Force on all KPI’s and Loreal Code of Conduct
Product & Brand Representation:
- Educate teams on the management of the Loreal Luxe Business in store and how to ensure their KPI’s are achieved
- Ensure perfect merchandising, display, and visibility of Luxe products according to brand guidelines and planograms.
- Implement and monitor promotional activities, ensuring effective execution and maximizing sales impact.
- Act as a brand ambassador for L'Oréal, embodying its values and prestige.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights within the assigned territory.
- Collect and report on sales data, performance, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence.
- Utilize Retailer tools to manage sales pipeline, record customer interactions, and track progress against goals.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales reports and territory reviews to the Regional Sales Manager.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 2-5 years of proven staff management experience, preferably in a field sale, account management, or business development role within the beauty, FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods), or retail industry.
Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Proven track record of management of Retail Trade Staff o Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Analytical skills to interpret sales data and identify opportunities.
- A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation are typically required, as this role involves extensive travel within the assigned territory.
Working Conditions:
- This is primarily a field-based role, requiring frequent travel within the assigned geographical territory to visit client accounts.
- May involve standing and walking for extended periods during visits or events.
- Ability to carry product, testers, samples, marketing materials, and other necessary equipment.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for client events, and sales meetings.
