E-commerce DTC Manager - AESOP
I am the E-COMMERCE DTC MANAGER I am responsible for the overall strategic development, operational management, and commercial performance of Aesop’s direct-to-consumer online channels. This role focuses on driving sales, enhancing the customer experience, and building strong brand loyalty through our digital platforms. I will oversee all aspects of the DTC e-commerce business, from website functionality and digital marketing to fulfilment and customer service, ensuring a seamless and engaging consumer journey that aligns with Aesop brand vision and business objectives.
A DAY IN A LIFE
-Build and execute the Brand E-D2C strategy to maximise retail sales, customer acquisition & loyalty and to drive brand image.
-Be responsible for E-D2C forecasting, trend and retail reporting for Aesop.
-Work with the Finance to own the E-D2C P&L for Aesop.
-Monitor key KPI performance and provide analysis and insights, including key KPI reporting
-Own and manage on-site merchandising (including PDPs, product descriptions, attributes, filters and categorization & on-site search). -Recommend ways to innovate our e-merchandising execution using shopper insights and learnings from the wider market. Work with the DEC team on the implementation roadmap.
-Responsible for the activation calendar, and for building strong activation plans for key selling moments (ie Q4), including events.
-Work with the CRM manager to build strong CRM plans that maximise customer recruitment & retention. Co-own the loyalty P&L to deliver best engagement and ROI.
-Work with the D2C Media & Search manager to ensure the websites' content is optimised to drive organic search.
-Ensure regular flow and update of product information between systems and liaising with Supply Chain on stock availability.
-Ensure all configuring and testing for promotions and campaigns on the SFCC platform is done timely, with the support of the DEC team, to ensure that all promotions & campaigns go live without any execution issues.
-Ensure all assets (provided by the brand team) are E-com optimised.
-Communicate promotional plans and updates with the wider business, engaging all relevant stakeholders – Supply Chain and the Activation teams.
-Own and manage the budget. Ensure budget is spent with maximum effectiveness (ROI).
-Identify business opportunities by detecting new trends, players, technologies and digital services.
-Own the relationship with key stakeholders (Zone, multi-div) and agencies (DEC), monitoring tools and platforms providers, and upskilling the wider teams on consumer-centric approach.
-Own and manage all D2C files budget controlling files.
