Responsibilities: 

• Reporting in to Head of US LUXE DMIs
• Responsible for overseeing all pillars in Global Creative Dept; packaging design, campaigns (concepting w/ agency + internal team post production), video (concepting and post production w/ agency) digital design, social, and events
• Managing 3 direct reports and multiple contractors
• Will manage relationship with Global Zones, identifying creative needs and support
• Partnering with outside agencies to supplement cross functional needs

Key skills:

• Sharp eye for design and typography
• Strong video storytelling
• 3-5 years management experience
• Follows beauty, makeup, and fashion trends
• Strong portfolio of design work, showing solutions to business problems through a solid knowledge of retail-focused design thinking; Luxury and/or beauty category experience a plus
• Consumer-centered design principles and practices to work
• Understanding of design principles. Typography, color and page layout, and a great eye for detail 
• Experience in artistic direction of photo shoots and able to provide feedback in post-production
• Ability to communicate concepts through visual comps and/or interactive prototypes 
• Experience with people management and mentoring a team of designers

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education/Experience/ Licenses or Certificates

• Degree in Graphic Design and/or equivalent experience will be considered
• Beauty and/or luxury industry experience preferred.
• Ideally ~6 years in a highly productive creative environment

SOFTWARE

• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – particularly Figma, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
• Expert Mac/System software, basic Mac/PC compatibility troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Powerpoint, and Microsoft Teams a plus

Salary Range: 128-180k + bonus
