The Mission: Beauty That Moves the World As the CMI Luxe Brand Director, you are the ultimate "Voice of the Consumer" at the heart of our strategic engine. Your role is to transform raw data into a competitive advantage, infusing consumer centricity into the DNA of our brand development teams. You will be a critical strategic partner in accelerating the international expansion of some of our most beloved American heritage brands: Kiehl’s, Urban Decay, IT Cosmetics, Ralph Lauren, and Youth To The People.

In this role, you don't just report trends; you anticipate the next frontier of beauty.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Brand Stewardship & Influence

  • Fuel Growth Strategy: Partner with brand leadership to transform deep human insights into concrete, high-impact strategic actions that drive business results.
  • Champion Consumer Obsession: Act as the strategic "North Star" for multidisciplinary teams (Marketing, Retail, Social, Education). You will curate and prioritize consumer insight topics that align with the brand’s global vision.
  • Anticipate the Future: Maintain a "future-forward" vision by sourcing global foresights and decoding cultural trends. You will be the bridge between the US Hub and the CMI community in the Paris DMI (Direction Marketing Internationale).
  • Executive Presence: Prepare and lead strategic discussions for key stakeholders, aligning global DMI goals with local Zone/Country realities.

2. Agile Insight & Project Excellence

  • Design & Innovate: Identify business-critical CMI needs and design creative, bespoke research methodologies. You will manage the testing budget with an entrepreneurial mindset, ensuring maximum ROI.
  • Actionable Intelligence: Lead the end-to-end research journey—from agency selection to high-energy workshops—and synthesize "connecting-the-dots" analysis into bold, action-oriented recommendations.
  • Influence for Impact: Communicate and defend your insights at the highest levels of the organization to directly influence product development and brand equity.

What We Are Looking For

  • The Foundation: A Bachelor’s Degree in Market Research, Psychology, Sociology, or Marketing.
  • The Experience: 6–8 years of expertise in Consumer Insights. You have a proven track record of supporting Brand Development (DMI or Hub experience is a major plus).
  • The Industry Edge: You live and breathe Luxury. You understand the codes of beauty, fashion, or premium travel and how to communicate with a high-end consumer.
  • The Toolkit: Mastery of both qualitative and quantitative methodologies (Segmentation, Brand DNA, Product & Ad testing). You are also a "Digital Native" who knows how to leverage social listening (TikTok, Instagram) to capture the pulse of the market.
  • The Mindset: You are an analytical storyteller. You don't just provide data; you provide a narrative. You are curious, resilient, and thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment where you manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.

What’s In It For You
