ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Category Insights Manager, you will be part of the Business Development team of our Luxury Division. The Business Development team is part of the Commercial team and the strategic heart of our organization. Driven by a insight driven mindset you are able to translate category insights to actionable conclusions and develop a strategy together with stakeholders. 

To be successful you will build a strong network within the Luxe division and multi-divisional peers (eg CMI) that enables you to connect different elements internally and externally. With this you will arrive at clear category insights for the division and for our key retailers.

Within this position, you will work closely with the division’s business analysts, the commercial team and marketing team. You are analytically strong, have the ability to connecting the dots and able to translate insights to actionable conclusions.


You will mainly be involved in:

  • Relay and translate for LLD categories and consumers insights coming from CDMO to upskill and inspire stakeholders; and making them usable for our teams in order to build winning plans together 
  • Co-create and develop a comprehensive strategy per category to drive growth. This involves understanding market trends, consumer preferences/behavior, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities
  • Co-create a L’Oréal Luxe category- & consumer vision to sponsor differentiated in store and e-store (activation) plans.
  • Build and share actionable market insights and learnings to strengthen our future hallmark plans
  • Input on the division OGSM in close collab with MANCOM for global view on retailer landscape & category opportunities
  • Share the category growth opportunities internally and with our Key retailers 


YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed WO education
  • Minimum of 4 years work experience; in a (consumer/market) insights driven role is Pre
  • Experience in market data (Panel)
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Powerful in Excel
  • Strong analytical & communication skills
  • Structured, strong in setting priorities
  • Flexible for ad-hoc questions
  • Strong team player
