As Business Development Director, you are the central force behind our commercial strategy. You will define and execute a bold O+O (Online + Offline) category vision that is deeply rooted in local market dynamics. You will empower your teams, build powerful partnerships with our retailers, and orchestrate the full commercial ecosystem — from Revenue Growth Management and trade marketing to training and business analytics — to accelerate LDB’s leadership and market share across the region.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Based in Prague and reporting to the L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty General Manager, you will lead the Business Development direction for the division. Your mission is to steer the growth of the entire dermo-cosmetic category across both online and offline channels, building a strategic vision that elevates our brands and our partners.


As a key leader, you will:

  • Shape the Category Strategy: Develop and drive the O+O (Online + Offline) category vision to increase market share and revenue. You'll identify new sources of growth, build customized development plans with retailers, and foster cross-brand collaboration.
  • Lead Revenue Growth & Planning: Champion the Revenue Growth Management (RGM) strategy, overseeing pricing, promotion, assortment, and trade-term initiatives. You will embed RGM capabilities across the organization and improve business planning processes for greater agility and predictability.
  • Drive Sell-Out Performance: Direct the Trade Marketing and Training teams to enhance brand presence and campaign execution. You will oversee the development of training plans for both our customers and internal teams to elevate expertise and advocacy.
  • Champion Data-Driven Decisions: Cultivate a strong data-driven culture within the division. You will lead the optimization of data accuracy and reporting to provide actionable commercial intelligence that supports strategic decision-making.


YOUR PROFILE

  • Education: BS/MS degree in Marketing, Digital, Business, or a related field
  • Experience:  8+ years in commercial leadership roles such as Business Development, Commercial Strategy, or Category Management.
  • Deep expertise in: Omnichannel (O+O) category strategy and Revenue Growth Management (RGM), including pricing, promotion, and assortment levers.
  • Proven track record of: Building and leading high-performing, multi-layered teams to drive profitable market share growth.
  • Professional English required — knowledge of local languages (CZ, SK, or HU) is a strong advantage
  • Highly creative, excellent communicator, with a genuine passion for technology and innovation
