We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Agile Delivery & Data Domain IT Manager, to join our IT team for Spain & Portugal. This dual-focus role is critical in bridging the gap between technical excellence and business value, acting as the IT Owner for our data ecosystem while ensuring operational agility through Scrum methodologies.
OBJECTIVE
Your main objective is to lead the end-to-end Agile delivery and drive operational excellence of data initiatives and analytical products for the Spain & Portugal market, promoting the roll out of international products.
As a Scrum and Delivery expert, you will orchestrate the full development lifecycle, from capacity planning and demand management to final deployment, ensuring high-quality, timely releases that meet business needs. You will act as the technical cornerstone for the local Chief Data Analytics Office (CDAO), fostering the adoption of international group products while managing and building local ad-hoc developments through rigorous agile methodologies.
Simultaneously, you will be the IT Owner of our data platform, responsible for the health, security, and cost-efficiency of our data platforms (GCP, Power BI). You will thrive in a high-stakes environment, balancing local business agility with strict adherence to International Zone and Group technical guidelines.
As part of the IT team, direct report will be to Spain and Portugal CIO, with dotted line to CDAO, with a strong coordination with Zone data IT team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Agile (Scrum) Delivery Management
- Scrum Master: Lead the sprint lifecycle for the agile product development team, orchestrating sprint planning sessions, daily stand-ups and weekly sprint flow ups. Facilitate team retrospectives resulting in actionable plans to drive continuous improvement and optimize delivery velocity.
- Demand & Roadmap: Actively participate in the demand management process. Translate business needs into technical roadmaps and perform detailed capacity planning.
- Vendor & Capacity Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, overseeing resource planning and proactive capacity management to ensure adherence to delivery timelines and optimal resource utilization.
- Stakeholder Management: Participate in CDAO dailies and Country Steercos. Partner closely with the Product Owner and Head of CDAO for backlog refinement, task prioritization, and validation.
- Service Delivery: Act as the IT Owner, monitoring ServiceNow incidents to ensure timely resolution and service excellence.
2. IT Data Management (IT Ownership)
- Technical Governance & Compliance: Enforce architectural standards and technical frameworks, ensuring that all analytical products and data assets adhere to established best practices and organizational IT guidelines.
- GCP & Cloud Management: Act as the Local Google Cloud Platform Manager governing the local cloud infrastructure. Manage user access, proactively monitor cloud cybersecurity and access alerts, and oversee cloud costs and budget follow-up.
- Power BI Ecosystem Management: Supervise the Power BI environment, managing Premium workspaces and reviewing license allocation. Monitor platform capacity and conduct performance reviews to maintain high standards of dashboard responsiveness and stability.
- Cybersecurity: Ensure all local data solutions are validated by Cybersecurity teams and remain compliant with Group security policies.
STRATEGIC COLLABORATION
- Local Partnership: Act as the key IT partner for the Spain & Portugal CDAO team to identify and solve local business challenges.
- International Alignment: Maintain a close relationship with Zone and Global teams to ensure local developments align with International products and Group IT guidelines.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management, with a strong focus on Data/BI environments.
- Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Agile Expertise: Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Delivery Manager in Agile environments.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of Cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform preferred).
- Experience managing Power BI environments (Workspaces, Capacities, Licensing).
- Familiarity with ServiceNow for incident management.
- SQL, ensure good data structure, as well support to devs teams.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication (technical and non-technical), and the ability to manage stakeholders in a matrix organization.
- Analytical Mindset: Capacity to follow up on team performance and capacity metrics, and costs.
- Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish is a must (written and spoken). Portuguese is a plus.
