The L’Oreal Americas Infrastructure Cyber Security team is looking to add a Senior Security Operations Manager experienced at handling high profile, critical infrastructure programs related to Cyber Security Initiatives and Disaster Recovery.  


In this role, the SecOps Lead will be responsible for the management of multiple Programs, including overseeing and ensuring a successful kickoff, maintaining the budget, working with applications and infrastructure engineering teams to devise Testing and Implementation plans, tracking critical path items, cutting through roadblocks and escalating issues, scheduling meetings and setting stakeholder expectations. 

 

What You Will Do:

 

  • This position also includes the Disaster Recovery Coordinator role for the Americas Zone. The DR Coordinator will be responsible for working with Application Stakeholders and the Infrastructure teams to manage the entire DR Program Lifecycle for all applications in the DR Program. This includes initial Application Analysis for applications being added to the DR Program, Test Planning, Setting Testing Goals, DR Test Management, Gap Analysis and Remediation Planning.
  • Develop, implement and maintain L’Oreal Cybersecurity standards, best practices, processes and procedures. This position works very closely with the L’Oreal Global Security team. 
  • Provide leadership, knowledge and guidance by mentoring, coaching, and educating the team members on the L’Oreal Americas CyberSecurity processes and procedures.
  • As a member of the L’Oréal Americas Infrastructure Cyber Security team the SecOps Lead will be expected to continually, advance and improve the company’s Cybersecurity capabilities.
  • This position will report directly to the AVP of the Americas Infrastructure Cyber Security.

  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the Infrastructure CyberSecurity team and all activities, such as Threat and Vulnerability Management, CSIRT Management, preparing & delivering status reports, issue tracking and risk mitigation, and implementation of appropriate corrective actions.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities of the TVM and Infra Security Teams
  • Establish client and stakeholder relationships, with Zone and Global counterparts and peers
  • Communicate Cybersecurity status to senior management and executive team 
  • Coordinate internal IT Infrastructure team resources (Network, Enterprise Services, Platform Services, Client Services, Operations), external partner teams, managed service providers and consultants as required.
  • Follow change management process to capture change requests, communicate impact, request stakeholder decisions, and execute changes if applicable.
  • Track individual and team time reporting for assigned Programs and ensure compliance with budgeted Program labor.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Services, Business or equivalent experience.
  • The optimal candidate will have over 7 years of Information Systems experience in Infrastructure or Cybersecurity roles as well as experience in a Global Enterprise Company leading a Disaster Recovery Program. 
  • Well versed in Threat and Vulnerability Management, CVE’s, CSIRTS and Fixing these types of issues
  • Must have previously held Program management positions in an IT organization focused on Infrastructure Programs and Disaster Recovery. 
  • Experience working in a Global IT organization.
  • Outstanding customer service and interaction skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to work independently under little supervision within a demanding client centric environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player with a high level of initiative.
  • Ability to interface with various levels of management.
  • Exhibit broad understanding of technology and the infrastructure landscape.
  • Superior organization and time management skills.
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering IT Programs on time and on budget.
  • Ability to speak English, Spanish is required, Portuguese is a plus.
