What You Will Do

As a Co-Op, you will play an active role in driving our scientific and medical initiatives forward. Your responsibilities will span several key pillars of our clinical and medical relations strategy:

 

Global Clinical Operations Support

  • Logistics & Coordination: Act as a central coordinator for global clinical trials and advanced product innovation studies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with Brand Marketing and Research & Innovation (R&I) teams to manage investigator product sample preparations.
  • Global Supply Chain Tracking: Oversee international shipping procedures, custom clearances, and cross-market coordination to ensure clinical testing timelines are met seamlessly.

 

HCP Engagement & Event Readiness

  • Medical Congress Execution: Support end-to-end preparation for international medical meetings, key opinion leader (KOL) events, and major dermatology congresses.
  • Database Management: Build and maintain detailed master databases for targeted medical mailings, advisory board tracking, and healthcare professional payments, ensuring strict compliance with local regulations.
  • Presentation Development: Draft preliminary medical presentation decks, translating complex scientific data into visually compelling slides utilizing core medical innovation templates.

 

Medical Communication & Digital Localization

  • Content Adaptation: Assist in the translation, cultural adaptation, and localization of scientific communications and product insertion materials for international markets.
  • Quality Assurance: Meticulously review, proofread, and validate localized content versions and subsequent revisions.
  • Digital Integration: Partner with the International Business Development (IBD) Digital teams to ensure medical messaging is accurately and compliantly translated across consumer-facing (B2C) digital platforms.

 

Competitor Intelligence & Scientific Tracking

  • Literature Monitoring: Systematically track, monitor, and analyze competitor aesthetic and dermatological publications.
  • Metric Analytics: Evaluate scientific presence by monitoring publication counts, citation metrics, and journal impact factors to help shape future clinical and HCP engagement strategies.
  • Strategic Insights: Translate raw scientific data and competitor activity into actionable insights for executive leadership.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Networking Opportunities

  • Multi-Department Exposure: This co-op offers rich opportunities to collaborate beyond the medical team, interfacing directly with Global/Regional Marketing, Digital Strategy, and Social Media/PR teams to integrate scientific claims into broader brand narratives.

 

What We Are Looking For: 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Degree: Completed Bachelor of Science (BS) in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Public Health) and currently pursuing or recently completed an advanced graduate degree (MS, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent).
  • Scientific Literacy: Ability to read, synthesize, and analyze complex scientific literature, clinical study protocols, and dermatological publications.
  • Analytical Mindset: Familiarity with research databases (e.g., PubMed) and basic bibliometric tracking metrics (such as citation counts, journal impact factors, and publication tracking).
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous review and proofreading skills, with a high standard for accuracy when validating medical claims, scientific slides, and localized text.

 

Competitive Compensation: $30.00 - $45.00, hourly (actual compensation depends on experience, skill level, and geographic location).
