Senior Accounting Manager

We are looking for a seasoned accounting professional ready to play a key leadership role in a dynamic industrial environment, driving financial accuracy, compliance, and transformation across our operations.


Responsibilities

Accounting & Reporting

    Oversee end-to-end accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets, cost accounting) for the production entity

    Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP

    Own statutory reporting and coordinate with external auditors

    Analyze manufacturing variances, inventory valuation, and CAPEX follow-up

    Provide actionable financial insights to drive operational efficiency


Accounting Transformation

    Lead the end-to-end redesign of accounting processes across two entities — mapping current state, identifying inefficiencies, and designing a harmonized, scalable target operating model

    Define and drive a structured transformation roadmap with clear milestones, ownership, and KPIs

    Champion automation and digitalization of accounting workflows (RPA, AI-assisted reconciliation, e-invoicing)

    Manage change across both organizations — engage stakeholders, communicate clearly, and ensure adoption

    Collaborate with SSC leadership on continuous improvement initiatives and ensure SSC teams are fully integrated into the transformation roadmap

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

    Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals

    Act as a key business partner to local management and Group Finance

    Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and regulatory bodies


Experience & Education

    Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics

    Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role

    Background in an industrial, manufacturing, or FMCG environment is a strong asset

    Experience with finance transformation projects (process redesign) preferred


Technical Skills

    Strong command of IFRS and Polish accounting regulations

    Proficiency in SAP (FI/CO modules) 

    Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, HFM/BFC) is a plus


Soft Skills

    Strong leadership and team development mindset

    Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

    Proactive, structured, and detail-oriented

    Ability to navigate complexity and drive change in a matrix organization

    Fluent in Polish and English (spoken and written)
