Summary:
The Lancôme Field Coach is a dynamic and passionate brand ambassador responsible for driving retail sales and elevating the customer experience within their assigned territory. This role focuses on coaching and developing Beauty Advisors in Lancôme counters within department stores and other retail locations, ensuring they possess the product knowledge, selling skills, and service techniques to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service. The Field Coach will also work closely with retail partners to maintain strong relationships and execute effective in-store events and promotions.
Responsibilities:
Coaching and Development:
- Provide regular on-the-job coaching and training to Beauty Advisors on product knowledge, selling techniques, customer service, beauty techs consultation skills and service and make up skills.
- Conduct regular store visits to observe, evaluate, and provide feedback on performance.
- Identify individual learning needs and tailor coaching strategies accordingly.
- Facilitate group training sessions and workshops on new product launches, seasonal promotions, and brand initiatives.
- Implement and monitor training programs to ensure consistent brand messaging and service standards across all locations.
- Define and implement coaching topics for beauty advisor to improve their NPS and CXE performance.
- Monitor the performance of beauty advisors with the utilization of beauty tech devices and brand’s app at the point of sales, as well as track conversion rates.
Sales Performance:
- Partner with retail managers, counter/ boutique managers and Beauty Advisors to analyze sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Set and track individual and store sales goals, providing support and motivation to achieve targets.
- Implement strategies to drive sales and increase market share within the assigned territory.
- Monitor and analyze competitor activity and market trends.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, including store managers, Beauty Advisors, and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with retail partners to execute successful in-store events and promotions.
- Address and resolve customer service issues effectively.
Event Execution & Promotion:
- Plan and execute impactful in-store events and promotions to drive customer engagement and sales.
- Manage event logistics, including staffing, merchandising, and inventory.
- Track and analyze event performance to measure ROI and identify areas for improvement.
Administration & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of coaching activities, sales and service data, customer service performance data and event results.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to management on performance and progress.
- Manage a budget for training materials and events.
- Manage inquiries related to the brand’s app and beauty tech devices and software.
- Manage and assist with customer service inquiries.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in cosmetic sales and/or training, preferably within a luxury brand environment.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding customer expectations.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to develop and motivate individuals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in makeup artistry techniques and application.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
