A Day in the Life
As a Regional Controller, you will be a key financial architect for a Brand or Channel in Mumbai. This is a dynamic role where you will take full ownership of the P&L, acting as a true business partner to the commercial and marketing teams across multiple divisions to drive financial performance and sustainable growth.
You will be responsible for:
- P&L Management: Taking end-to-end financial responsibility for the business P&L, driving gross margins, and ensuring every line item is reviewed and optimized.
- Business Partnership: Working closely with business teams to enable them to achieve their objectives, providing timely analysis and strategic inputs to drive an ROI-focused mindset.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Preparing and presenting budgets and trends, ensuring timely monthly closings, and delivering full analysis of all performance drivers.
- Process & Compliance: Driving the implementation of finance policies, ensuring all processes are followed, and supporting internal control audits.
We Are Looking For
You are a Chartered Accountant or an MBA from a top-tier institute with an experienced background in the FMCG sector. You are a solution-oriented professional with a strong understanding of the commercial environment.
- You have a proven ability to manage a P&L and drive financial performance.
- You excel at integrating with commercial and brand teams, acting as a trusted business partner.
- You possess strong analytical skills and a high level of accuracy, with proficiency in SAP and other business tools.
- You are agile and adaptable, capable of managing complexity and respecting tight deadlines.
- You have a proactive mindset, focusing on day-to-day business drivers to make timely, informed decisions.
