Hello, we’re L’Oréal.
We're not just building brands, we're shaping how the world experiences beauty (and it takes a lot of cool jobs to do it). Intrigued? Keep reading, this might be the opportunity you've been searching for.
A Day in the Life
As a Media Marketing Apprentice within our UK Chief Digital Marketing Office (CDMO), you'll be at the heart of L'Oréal's UK media strategy. Reporting to the Senior Media Operations Manager, you will gain unique exposure across all our divisions - Consumer Products, L'Oréal Luxe, Professional Products, and Dermatological Beauty. In this role, you will work 4 days a week with us and spend the 5th day studying towards a Business Management Degree, all while making a real impact on our iconic brands and shaping your own career.
Your daily life could include:
- Media Operations & Compliance: Assisting in the design and optimisation of media processes, ensuring our internal finance and booking systems are up-to-date and that we adhere to L'Oréal's Golden Rules.
- Budget & Performance Analysis: Contributing to media budget optimisation by analysing data from Excel-based reports, providing valuable commentary and insights on our strategic investments.
- Market & Stakeholder Engagement: Helping to build our market knowledge by engaging with key media agencies and owners, and supporting the team by arranging key meetings and preparing presentations.
- Driving Innovation: Communicating the results from our media tests and contributing your own ideas to help shape the future of our media campaigns.
We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone with a keen interest in the world of marketing and media, who is ready to learn and grow. You don't need a degree or experience for this role, just the right attitude and potential. You're a great match if you have:
- Analytical Skills: A natural aptitude for numbers and the ability to analyse data to find meaningful insights. If you can find your way around a spreadsheet, that's a real advantage!
- Proactivity & Problem-Solving: An eye for efficiency and the initiative to find solutions and drive improvements.
- Project Management: Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Agility & Adaptability: A curious and resilient mindset, ready to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
