The Role
As a Market Intelligence Lead within L'Oréal's Research & Innovation division, you will play a critical role in informing strategic decisions by providing actionable insights derived from market data and trends. You will be a key partner to R&I teams, helping them understand the evolving consumer landscape, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities in the beauty industry.
A Day in the Life
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis research, analyzing Market , category shares, Business performance and movements and brand shares evolution. consumer behavior, competitor activities, market trends, and technological advancements relevant to L'Oréal's R&I focus.
- Data Synthesis & Insight Generation: Synthesize data from various sources (market reports, consumer surveys, social listening, etc.) to identify key insights and trends that inform product development, innovation strategies, and long-term planning.
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor and analyze impact of competitor activities, including product launches, marketing campaigns, and R&I initiatives, on their market share to identify potential threats and opportunities for L'Oréal.
- Trend Forecasting: Proactively identify emerging trends in the beauty industry and assess their potential impact on L'Oréal's product portfolio and innovation pipeline.
- Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate closely with R&I teams, marketing, and other relevant stakeholders to share insights, inform decision-making, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Reporting & Presentation: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and reports that effectively communicate market intelligence findings to key stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Market Research, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in market intelligence, market research, or competitive analysis, preferably within the beauty or consumer goods industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data and draw actionable insights.
- Proficiency in market research methodologies and data analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented with a strong attention to detail.
- Fluency in English is essential. Additional languages are a plus.
